We provide care management solutions for our clients: elderly/disabled community members and their loved ones entrusted with their care. We do so by coordinating benefits applications, helping transition clients into Assisted Living Facilities, managing bills and budgeting, handling emergency hospital visits, and more. We provide our family and personal clients with the necessary tools and resources for whatever obstacles may arise.
Professionals
We assist trustees, guardians, and those with power of attorney in caring for their elderly and disabled clients. These professionals can rely on our 30+ years of expertise in many areas; preparing inventories and accountings, applying for benefits, and providing high-end care management of their client’s needs. To these professionals, our GCMBS team members are the boots on the ground when it comes to helping their clients.
Estate Support
In addition to caring for the elderly, we also provide services to their attorneys, families, and beneficiaries after they have passed. We have over 30+ years of experience in estate support. Our support mean acting as the Personal Representative or assisting the named Personal Representative(s) ('Executor' in many states) to navigate the process. We help our Estate Support clients with items such as: taking inventory of assets, accounting for expenses, planning estate sales, providing property management, contacting banks and other financial institutions, gathering tax documents, changing car titles, and providing ongoing administrative support. We strive to simplify the estate process during what can be a difficult time, while providing quality, experienced, and trustworthy support.

For more than three decades, our team has been active advocates for individuals and families impacted by injury, illness, and disability. Our services also include estate administrative support, consulting for professionals within the guardianship network, and providing statewide guardianship connection and mentoring. We navigate crucial healthcare, benefits, government programs, and more, by focusing on what's in the best interest of each individual.
Theresa L. Barton, our Founder & CEO, created GCMBS after her own journey of caring for her elderly mother, being thrust into the Florida Health Care System without a locale advocate. After her experience, Theresa observed the growing need for support amongst many Floridians in navigating this space. GCMBS was born to fulfill this need and grew to thrive through word of mouth. We became well-known as the “the folks to call. ” Our logo is, and always will be, a baby picture of Theresa's mother who represents the foundation of who we are.
We are passionate about knowledge-sharing with the next generation of guardians. Through consulting services, we offer guidance, training, and mentorship to aspiring professionals seeking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
